Finding Your Way Around a Website

Usually, wherever there's blue text like this, if you click on it with the left button of the mouse, you'll jump to the page, picture, or bookmark to which it is linked. It's called a hyperlink. The same applies to buttons and sometimes to "hotspots" in pictures or other graphics. When your mouse cursor is hovering over a hyperlink it will change into a hand (unless the kids have installed some way out mouse cursors on your PC) :o).

Usually, after you've used a hyperlink once on a specific computer, the colour changes on all links to that location throughout the site.

On this website, as well as the blue hyperlinks in the main text, you can jump to other pages using the Main Links on the left and the Page Related Links further down.

When you've jumped to another page, you can return to where you were by clicking the green back arrow on the top left of your Internet Explorer toolbar.

An easier method is to tap your Backspace key.

Following On to Consecutive Pages

At the bottom of pages which are followed logically by another page, there is linked text with an arrow for you to click on, like this: Next: Processors ». If you wish to click on that one, tap the backspace key to return to this page.

There may also be a link to take you to the logically preceding page, like this: « Back: Storage.

As explained above, links to these are provided by buttons and lists of links on the top left of most pages.

Clicking on any mistywindow.com logo at top left or the bottom of the page will take you to the mistywindow home page.
